The FreedomAI Promise

FreedomAI was built for people who want powerful AI without signing away their life story to get it. No corporate data broker, no ad exchange, no silent partner skimming your business off the top. Accounts run on a service identifier, not your papers. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ We don't ask for your legal name, home address, phone number, government ID, or any other real-world details just to let you in the door.

Every user gets the same deal, signed in or not. Nobody here is a "premium data subject." Signing in gets you access, account controls, local preferences, and service limits, full stop. It is not a permission slip for advertising surveillance, resale, or building a file on your behavior.

Data we don't collect can't be sold, shared, breached, or handed to an ad network, because it was never sitting on a shelf in the first place. (•̀ᴗ•́)و Collect less, protect more, keep the citizen in control of his own business.

What Stays Yours

What's yours is yours. Your prompts, your messages, your saved outputs, and anything else you bring through the door stay your property. ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ You hand us only the narrow permission needed to transmit, process, display, secure, and hand back the service you asked for, nothing more.

We do not claim ownership of your conversations. We do not package your activity into an audience segment to be auctioned off. We do not turn your private work into somebody else's marketing asset.

Local-First Chat History

Conversation history is local-first. It lives in your browser storage unless you export it, delete it, clear site data, or your browser removes it.

That means FreedomAI does not keep a server-side chat archive for you. If you clear your browser data, that local history can disappear.

Your local settings, including model and search preferences, may also be stored in your browser so the app feels like yours when you return.

Account Identifiers

Creating an account gets you one thing: an account ID, issued so we can extend you higher usage limits. That ID is what our internal service tracks in Redis for session and rate-limit lookups.

Your password is run through standard one-way hashing before it is stored. We do not keep a readable copy, and we cannot look it up or hand it back to you if you lose it. Your username is stored as an account record so you can sign in and so the account works the way an account should. It is a login field, not an audience segment.

Chat history is handled the way this policy describes above, independent of account status. Unless a future database-backed history feature is clearly rolled out and announced, FreedomAI should not imply that your conversations are synced across devices.

Prompt Processing

When you send a message, that message and the relevant conversation context enter the FreedomAI request path so the Freedom Machine can fire back an answer. That request runs through server infrastructure built for routing, validation, service protection, and delivery, nothing fancier than that.

Prompt data gets processed to answer the request you made, period. FreedomAI does not treat prompts as personally identifying records, does not turn them into an advertising profile, and does not build a permanent record of your behavior from them.

FreedomAI does not maintain a server-side conversation archive from prompt processing. Temporary request handling, service protection, and response-generation state exist just long enough to complete the request, keep the system running, and get you your answer. None of that is a vault, and none of it is a profile on you. ᕗ(ಠ‿ಠ)ᕗ

If web search is enabled or automatically triggered, search-related request data gets processed so current results and sources can be pulled in.

Don't put secrets or anything you're not comfortable having processed into a prompt. Treat an AI system like a workbench, not a safe.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not have personally identifiable information on users.
• We do not sell personally identifiable information.
• We do not rent, trade, broker, share, or distribute personally identifiable information.
• We do not build advertising profiles from your prompts, account, or local chat history.
• We do not maintain a server-side archive of local-first conversations.
• We do not treat account holders as a separate class of people whose data can be tracked for ads or resale.

Your Responsibilities

You're responsible for what you submit, what you save, what you ask FreedomAI to generate, and what you do with the output afterward. FreedomAI is a tool, not a babysitter. You're the one holding the wheel.

AI responses can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, offensive, or flat-out unsuitable for what you needed. It's on you to check the facts, follow whatever rules apply to you, and decide whether a result is fit for your situation.

Acceptable Use

FreedomAI is built for free inquiry, plain and simple. Users are responsible for how they use the service, what they ask it, and what they do with any result.

We may restrict access or enforce service protections when it's needed to keep FreedomAI up and running, protect the system, or respond to clear abuse. Protecting the service is not the same thing as building a file on a user.

Security

FreedomAI uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the service. No internet service on Earth is bulletproof. ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ You're responsible for locking down your own device, browser profile, network, account credentials, exported files, and any local copies of your conversations.

Changes To This Policy

FreedomAI may update this Privacy & Terms page as the product, infrastructure, or legal landscape changes. Material updates get reflected by changing the effective date at the top of this document.

Keep using FreedomAI after an updated policy goes up, and that means you're on board with the new terms.

Warrant Canary

Last affirmed: July 1, 2026.

As of the date above, FreedomAI states plainly that it has not received a national security letter, FISA order, gag order, secret subpoena, or other classified demand that would stop us from telling our users about it.

If this section disappears, changes materially, or stops getting refreshed after a policy update, take that as your cue to start asking questions and sizing up your own risk.
